Family Health Care – Women’s Health

We begin our examination of all female health problems, such as hormone imbalances, fatigue, weight gain and digestive issues, with a comprehensive health evaluation (interview, physical exam, possible lab testing). Women’s Health Treatment Program Summary

Our female patients will have 80% of their treatment plan accomplished in the first 12 weeks/three months of care at the clinic. A patient’s initial visit allows us to give a general evaluation. If necessary, this is followed by food sensitivity testing which assists with detoxification. After the testing, a doctor visit is scheduled to go over the test results and to establish an individualized program for the next four weeks. Two weeks into the program, a brief doctor visit is utilized to ensure that the program is being followed properly and to address any questions. At the fourth week a re-test and re-evaluation of the food sensitivity test is done. At this point, the diet is again modified and another four-week plan is given with a return to re-test and re-evaluate at the end of the next four weeks. At the 8-week point, another modified 4-week plan is given. Then at the 12th week, a final re-test and re-evaluation is done and the patient is given a program that she will follow long term. Our goal at the end of the program is that the patient is feeling better, has lost weight and has now changed her lifestyle to promote optimal health.

Here is a sample overview of a treatment plan for PMS:

  • Evaluate for Excess Estrogen syndrome. Stimulate healthy liver and gut function.
  • Evaluate for neurotransmitter balance (serotonin and endorphins)
  • Evaluate for hormone imbalances ie. hypothyroidsim, hyperprolactin
  • Screen for poor diet, deficiency of essential nutrients, defective digestion, impaired detoxification, stress hormone imbalances
  • Screen for food sensitivity and initiate detoxification for 12 weeks
  • Select specific natural medicines-chaste berry, candida phenolic, multi B6, etc.
  • Daily exercise
